Glass Sector Meeting took place with Deputy Minister of Trade, Mr. R. Tuna Turagay, and TİM President Mr. İsmail Gülle’s presence and participation of 80 sector representatives on the 13th of December in Istanbul.

Deputy Minister of Trade, R. Tuna Turagay, TİM President İsmail Gülle, and Chairman of Cement, Glass, Ceramics and Soil Products Exporters Association, Erdem Çenesiz expressed their expectations in 2022 at the opening speeches.

Tansu Kumru, Vice President of Cement, Glass, Ceramics and Soil Products Exporters Association (TurkishGlass) analysed increasing export figures and the growing potential of the glass sector at the presentation on “Turkey’s and World’s Glass Trade”. Additionally, Ms. Kumru gave information about the communication and promotion activities of TurkishGlass representing the glass manufacturers, glass processors and glass exporters in Turkey.

Within the context of the meeting, “2022 Expectations of Construction Industry and the Economy” and “Governmental Supports for Export” presented and shared with the attendees at Glass Sector Meeting 2021.
