General Secretariat of Central Anatolian Exporters Association started operating upon establishment of the "Cement and Soil Products Exporters Association" in 1989. Cement, Glass, Ceramic and Soil Products Exporters’ Association, which has more than 2,000 members, is the sole coordinating union in this sector throughout Turkey.

Cement, Glass, Ceramics and Soil Products Exporters’ Association that exports throughout Europe, Middle East, Africa and American Continent gets a share 2,3% from Turkey’s total export value.

Turkish cement, glass, ceramic and soil products sector enjoys a significant position in Europe, America, Middle East, Africa, in other words all over the world. Export value of the sector increased by 7,7% in 2020 compared to 2019, amounting to USD 3,9 billion $. Turkey’s top exporting countries are the USA, Israel, Germany, UK, Italy and France. Exports of total ceramic industry is $1,3 billion, $1,1 billion for total cement industry and  $865 million for total glass industry in 2020.

Efforts are exerted under the coordination of the 11-strong Executive Board of the Association, expanding the opportunities for the sector and seeking solutions to the problems; similarly, initiatives are undertaken over the issues which are of immediate concern to the sector. Thus, contribution is made to the competitiveness of the sector in the international markets.
