Some 50 members of the US-based CTDA came together with the producers and exporters of the Turkish ceramic sector between 2-6 June 2015 under the Trade Delegation program organized at Istanbul Conrad Hotel. The visiting delegation held bi-lateral negotiations with our firms, and had the opportunity to see the newest products of the sector at the boutique fair area which was organized for the Turkish firms, where their products were exhibited, and visited the production facilities, witnessing at first hand that Turkish ceramic products are better than those of their competitors from the standpoint of both price and quality. The Trade Delegation program under which a presentation was given introducing the Turkish ceramic sector and which involved bi-lateral negotiations and visits to production facilities was quite beneficial for the participants from the standpoint of commercial relations, as noted in the letter of gratitude of Mr. Thomas J. Kotel, Chairman of CTDA, as well.
