Turkish Ceramics Promotion Group Was In CERSAI 2010 BOLOGNA/ ITALY

As in the previous years, Turkish Ceramics Promotion Group has carried out various activities to promote the Turkish ceramics during CERSAIE 2010 (International Exhibition of Ceramic Tiles and Bathroom Furnishings), held between the dates 28 September-02 October 2010 in Bologna/Italy. By 2009 figures, 1037 exhibitors and 82.422 visitors, CERSAIE is one of the most significant exhibitions for ceramics sector in the world. 15 Turkish ceramics companies participated as exhibitors in CERSAIE 2010.

With the aim of raising the awareness of the art exhibition and the concert organized by Turkish Ceramics Promotion Group, a press conference is held on 29th September in the Convention Center of Bologna Fiere. In the press conference headed by  Bahadır KAYAN, the Co-President of the Turkish Ceramics Promotion Group, the general overview of Turkish ceramics sector industry, the growth in Turkish ceramics exportation, the recent trends in the sector and also the events of Turkish Ceramics Promotion Group were emphasized by the means of a presentation. Germiyan SAATÇİOĞLU, Secretary General of the Turkish Ceramics Federation, and Mustafa CESAR, Turkish Commercial Attache in Roma, stayed ready to reply the potential questions related to the ceramics sector. Upon the invitation of the Turkish Ceramics Promotion Group, Serra YILMAZ, who is a famous movie/theatre star well-known in Italy has participated the press conference to speak about the Turkish art.

 

43 works of art belonging to the modern Turkish ceramic artists were exhibited  under the CeramİSTanbul, which is a modern art exposition, in the main exhibition hall of the  Bologna Fiere, Palazzo dei Congressi- Sala Bianca, during CERSAIE 2010.

On 30th September, Turkish Ceramics Promotion Group has offered a musical entertainment to the city of Bologna. Hüsnü Şenlendirici Ensemble has performed in Piazza Maggiore, the main piazza of Bologna. One of the masters of the clarinet, Hüsnü Şenlendirici fascinated the people of Bologna and also the foreign visitors of the city owing to the CERSAIE, through his capacity to combine chill out music, folk and jazz together with the famous Turkish ensemble clarinet. On behalf of Turkish Ceramics Promotion Group, Zeynep BODUR, the President of Turkish Ceramics Federation, presented a precious clarinet made of ceramic to Hüsnü ŞENLENDİRİCİ at the time of the concert.
