Turkishceramics Stands Out With Hospitality in 25th USA Coverings Exposition

Turkish ceramics has nonesuch quality and enduring structure and manufactured with excellent workship. By the end of the 2013, Turkey reached more than 1 billion $ of total ceramics products exportation, with more than $606 million from tiles exportation and more than 204 million from the exportation of sanitary ware.

In this direction, trade fairs undertake most of the promotional work, and most recently in April 2014, 25th Coverings International Tile, Stone and Flooring Exposition in USA Las Vegas city, invites “Turkishceramics” for the 16th times to reveal itself among foremost ceramic producers in the world. 

Coverings trade fair takes attention of the biggest ceramics manufacturers in the world to let them exposit their products in the biggest Tile, Stone and Flooring Exposition in USA. In particular, as being one of the top consumer ceramics markets in the world, USA comes to the forefront by its great size of ceramics importation (68% importation of its total ceramics consumption), demonstrates how big USA ceramic market is. Specifically, as USA market compensates itself continuously after 2011, new house sales grew by 19, 9% in 2012 in comparison to 2011, in the same year, regarding the tile sales, it also increased by 5, 5% and reached 204, 1 million m2 thereby, USA market became promising ceramic market. 

Being as Turkey’s top export ceramics market- to USA market- Turkey’s annual export figures increase sharply every passing year, on the tile flooring and sanitary ware ceramics market. Most notably, in comparison to 2011, in 2012, Turkey’s ceramics tile flooring export to USA, surged by 56% as 25 million $, as sanitary ware market grew by 33% as 8 million $. Within this export expansion, Turkey’s ceramics export to the USA market was at its highest in 2012. Ultimately, in 2013, Turkey’s ceramics tile flooring exportation to USA has increased by 32% as 34 million $, likewise sanitary ware market has grew by 18%, as almost 10 million $. In consideration of Turkey’s ever-increasing export, USA became a promising market and that proves how important Coverings is for “Turkishceramics”.
