International Ceramic Bathroom and Kitchen Fair UNICERA was held  in İstanbul on 5-9 February 2019. The Fair hosted its companies and visitors from 130 countries on an area of 100 thousand square meters. The Fair carried out in cooperation with Turkey Ceramics Federation (TSF) and Plumbing and Building Materials Association (TIMDER).

As the largest specialty fair of Turkey UNICERA hosted 350 companies that leading the industry and over 1200 brands in the fields of bath products, floor-wall coverings, ceramic processing technology, kitchen products, decorative products, packaging, storage and many other  products group. The Fair welcomed sector leading representatives and  buyers from Europe, Far East and Sub-Saharan Africa, mainly from Italy, Spain and Germany, as well as Portugal, Egypt, India, China, Taiwan, Serbia and Iran.

Openning of the fair carried out with participation of the Chairman of Turkish  Exporters’ Assembly İsmail Gülle, Cement Glass Ceramic and Soil Products Exporters’  Association Chairman Erdem Cenesiz, and Foreign Economic Relations Board’s President Nail Olpak.

On the second day of the fair, Deputy Minister of Commerce  Mr Tuna Turagay met with the sector representatives and received informations about  the increasing graphics of the ceramic sector and the Unicera Fair.

On February  6-7 Seminars were held  organized by Unicera with world famous designers. Besides the participation of  Antonio Bullo (one of the most important designers of Italy)  Berne Donadeu  (one of the most important designers of Spain) Carlo Ciciliot, Giuseppe Maurizio, Scutellà Hicham Lahlou, Johann Dück shared ideas, designs, experiences and predictions that guide the ceramics industry.
