Organized by TÜYAP Fairs and Exhibitions Organization, Inc. between March 14 and 18, UNICERA, the 24th International Ceramics, Bathroom and Kitchen Fair gathered the visitors from Europe, Middle East, Africa and the exhibitors together. With its 86,000 square meters area, Unicera provided a great platform for exhibiting ceramic tiles, vitreous wares, pools, saunas, taps, bathroom and kitchen furniture, accessories and publications relating to these, between 14 and 18 March 2011. This year, UNICERA 24th International Ceramic Bathroom Kitchen Fair was visited by 65,686 professionals from 96 countries, 4306 of whom were from abroad. When compared to 2011, number of foreign visitors of Unicera increased %22 in 2012. These figures prove that UNICERA is one of the best ceramic fairs in Europe.

26 companies from Turkishceramics Promotion Group which were Altın Ceramic, Bien Ceramic, Creavit, Doğvit, Duratiles – Duravit, Ece Sanitary Ware, Ege Ceramic & Sanitary Ware, Graniser, Hitit Ceramic, Idevit, Kale (Çanakkale Ceramic – Kalebodur), Kütahya Ceramic, Pera Ceramic, Sanovit, Seramiksan, Seranit, Serel, Söğütsen Ceramic, Tamsa Ceramic & Granite, Termal Ceramic, Turkuaz Ceramic & Sanitary Ware, Umpaş Ceramic, Uşak Ceramic, Vitra, Yurtbay and Yüksel Ceramic, attended UNICERA by showing their latest innovative and fashionable products at their specially designed stands. The new trends in ceramic sector such as nano-technological tiles, digitally printed control panels at sanitary ware products and natural stone tiles were exhibited at these modern stands. Moreover, co-operating with famous Turkish designer, Turkish ceramic companies showed how they give importance to design.

During UNICERA, Turkishceramics Promotion Group welcomed guests at its VIP Lounge located on the 2nd floor at Buyukada and Kınalıada Salons of TUYAP, same as last year. Special clients of leading ceramic companies and editors of international sectoral magazines could have a rest and benefit advantages of free internet connection, open buffet and locker services at VIP Lounge by using their VIP invitation cards which were sent privately to a limited group of people by Turkishceramics. Additionally, at VIP Lounge Turkishceramics presented its new service of Turkishceramics virtual fair, www.turkishceramicsfair.com which is the first and the only ceramic virtual fair around the world.

As part of UNICERA, Turkishceramics invited the editors of international and regional sectoral magazines as Frame, Ceramic World Review, Edge, Carrelage, Fliesen Und Platten, Commercial Interior Design, Domoi and Gulf Construction. The editors had the opportunity to visit historical beauties of Istanbul, while they were being informed about Turkish ceramic industry, its 8000 years background and the latest situation by the Chairman of Turkish Ceramics Promotion Group Bahadır Kayan at Turkishceramics presentation.

Two other upcoming “Turkishceramics” events can be followed in Moscow / Russia and in Orlando / USA. Turkish Ceramics Promotion Group will be participating to Mosbuild fair with its new info booth between 2nd and 5th of April. The other event will be held between 14th and 20th of April.
